Microsoft Introduced a new feature in Windows 11 called Search Highlights. It is a Great Feature in Windows 11 to highlight Interesting and informative Content in the Windows 11 search.

There are two methods or steps (to turn search highlights on or off in Windows 11), which are the following;

1. Disable Search Highlights in Windows 11 via Settings
2. Disable Search Highlights on Windows 11 via Registry Editor

1. Disable Search Highlights in Windows 11 via Settings

In this method, we will use the Setting of Windows 11 to Disable Search Highlights. The Step-by-step method is followings;

  1. In the first method, we will Click the Start Button and Open Settings of Windows 11.

2. In the Second Step,   Click on the Privacy & Security Option in the setting.

4. In the Last Step, turn off the toggle for Show search highlights in search Permissions.

2. Disable Search Highlights on Windows 11 via Registry Editor

In the Second Method, We will use the Registry Editor to turn off the Search highlights in Windows 11. Let’s start with the First Step.

  1. In the First Step, Click on the Windows 11  Start Button and Search “Registry Editor.”

    2. In the second Step, Search the Below Path on the Registry Editor app.

    3. In the 3rd Step, find the IsDynamicSearchBoxEnabled key.

    In these Steps, You can use the Registry Editor to turn off the Search highlights in Windows 11.
